The transcriptions in this collection are provided courtesy of Barbara Hacker-Allshouse. Ms. Allshouse has transcribed 26 years of the Cemetery's logs.

Prior to 1898 the Cemetery's interment logs contain little information about the individual other than the location of the interment and the fee paid. The transcriptions in this collection begin at the end of 1898 when the records were expanded to include some of the information that is found on the death certificate.

RESTRICTIONS ON USE: You are welcome to download copies of the information on this site for research of individuals or families interred in Historic Congressional Cemetery. Use of the information for any purpose other than family/individual research without permission from the Association for the Preservation of Historic Congressional Cemetery is prohibited.

This site is currently under construction. Transcriptions are available for 1898 to 1903. The remaining transcriptions will become available as volunteers format the data for the web.
