Join us Thursday evening April 26th at 6pm for a party to celebrate Garrett Peck's new book "The Potomac River: A History and Guide" Enjoy a tour of Congressional Cemetery's residents, books signing, and specialty cocktails from DC's craft bartenders.
About the author: Garrett Peck is a literary journalist and self-described history dork. He is the author of three books: The Prohibition Hangover: Alcohol in America from Demon Rum to Cult Cabernet, and Prohibition in Washington, DC: How Dry We Weren’t. He leads the Temperance Tour of Prohibition-related sites in the nation’s capital, which has been featured on C-SPAN Book TV. His third book, The Potomac River: A History and Guide, will be published in April 2012.
