Historic Congressional Cemetery is always open during daylight hours for self-guided walking tours. Copies of the tours are available from the mailbox attached to the gazebo at the 18th Street gate, or can be downloaded here. Free, docent-led tours are held every Saturday from April through October at 11am (*see below*), beginning at the Chapel in the center of the cemetery. The Cemetery also offers two free specialty tours.  War of 1812 tours are offered on the first Saturday of every month and Civil War tours are offered on the third Saturday of every month (see schedules below).**  

** On April 20, there will be no general introductory tour at 11 am.  Instead, the Cemetery will be hosting a Revolutionary War living history event from 11 am to 3 pm.  Come talk to reenactors, watch demonstrations, and listen to period music.  Revolutionary War tours of the Cemetery will be given at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.  Admission is free**
