In commemoration of Women’s History Month as well as the 100th anniversary of the Great Suffrage Parade of 1913, join us for a tour on March 9th, 2013 to learn all about the “uppity women” in Congressional Cemetery. They certainly were a handful – suffragists, civil rights advocates, journalists and artists - and a mess of other brave and brilliant ladies. Led by Rebecca Roberts, this tour will highlight these very special women and their unique stories. The tour will begin at 1 pm at the Chapel. TOUR IS FULL. (Pictured: the inimitable Belva Lockwood)
